How to delete your account
You can delete your Anonvia account at any time, without asking anyone. There are two ways: from inside the app (immediate) or by email request.
This is a translation provided for convenience. The binding version is the Turkish text at anonvia.app/hesap-silme.
Option 1 — From the app (recommended)
Immediate, with no waiting period:
- Open Anonvia
- Tap the Profil (Profile) tab at the bottom right
- Tap the gear icon at the top right
- Scroll down and tap Hesabımı sil (Delete my account) under Hesap (Account)
- Read the warning and confirm
Option 2 — By email
If you do not have your phone, or you cannot sign in, write to [email protected]. Your message should include:
- Your username (with the @)
- The email address registered to the account — writing from that address is how you confirm the request is yours
Requests are completed within 30 days at the latest, usually much sooner. We let you know once it is done.
What happens when you delete your account
Deleted immediately and permanently
- Your profile: username, bio, tags, profile photo
- Your posts and their photographs
- Your stories
- Reward records you sent and received
- Your follows and likes
- Your block list
- Your notification token — no further notifications are sent to your phone
This data cannot be recovered. Registering again with the same username will not bring your old content back.
Kept for a period
These are kept because the law requires it or because other people's safety depends on it. Each is deleted automatically once its period ends:

In these records your name and content are not visible; only an authorised person can access them when an investigation requires it. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Frequently asked
Can I undo the deletion?
No. Deletion is permanent and there is no waiting period. If you are not sure, try signing out of the app first.
Can I have only some of my data deleted?
Yes. You can remove individual posts, stories and your profile photo without deleting your account. If you want a specific piece of data removed, write to the support address.
Are the anonymous messages I sent deleted?
They are deleted on your side. The copy on the other side remains until that person deletes it — but your identity is never revealed.
Will I be refunded?
Purchases are made through the App Store and Google Play, and refund requests are handled there. Deleting your account does not by itself create a refund.
